Building on the momentum of their Excellence in Engineering Award from the Bethesda regional, the Gryphons showcased incredible technical skill and teamwork, solidifying their place as one of the best teams in the DMV.
The journey doesn’t end here. The Gryphons have officially punched their ticket to the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas, taking place April 29 – May 2, 2026, at the George R. Brown Convention Center. There, they will compete against elite robotics teams from across the globe.
