The Richmond Spiders will be playing Montana this Friday, December 19 at 8PM in ESPN2 for the National Championship! There are 5 former George C. Marshall football players on the roster. Tim Silver, Ryan Goss, Frank Howell, Doug Howell, and Chris Hurlburt. Ryan and Chris each have sisters who are current Marshall student/athletes (Meara Goss and Lauren Hurlburt). I am pretty certain this is the largest number of players we have had in one collegiate program at one time ever and they are going for the National Championship!
