Welcome to the George C. Marshall High School PTSA website.

This website has been created as a vehicle to share related news, post announcements, float ideas, and raise awareness of future plans. We want to virtually link the GCMHS community.

The main goal of the PTSA is to involve and recruit GCM parents in order to help the school provide the most productive and wonderful educational experience possible for our children. We believe that effective communication between the parents, school, and the community is the key towards the students’ success - not only academically, but also personally.

Be an active part of your child’s education. Join the PTSA. By joining the PTSA, you will have numerous opportunities to volunteer… a little volunteering goes a long way. Be a good role model for your children. By volunteering, you are showing them that the adults in their lives truly care and value their education. Don’t wait! Please contact gcmptsa@gmail.com for more information.

This website will allow us to rapidly post and distribute important news and events. It also provides a dynamic environment for discussion of topics relevant to our PTSA activities.

As we begin to post news and other materials, feel free to add your comments and ideas after each posting. Please click on a specific news post to place comments. We have created a master calendar for most of the student/school activities and events. Times/dates may change for sporting events due to weather conditions or other unforeseen events. Please check the GCM sports website for more information. For everyone’s convenience, we have provided links to different websites on the left side of the home page.

If you have news or material that you would like to disseminate, please send it to the email address referenced above. I strongly encourage contributors to the website or the BLAST, an up-to-date e-mail service about the students/school activities and events, to join the PTSA. PTSA dues allow us to financially support/fund student clubs, DECA, MAEF teacher’s wish list, staff development, awards ceremony receptions, directory production/distribution, student assemblies, beautification, and much, much more.

The PTSA cannot effectively execute all of its plans without parental support. I look forward to a very fruitful and enjoyable collaboration with all GCMHS parents, teachers, students, and the community.

Best regards.

Maria "Malou" Rennert
President
GCM High School PTSA
